ABC News scaremongering
http://abcnews.go.com/
At that link you will see that ABC News is running a week-long series on nuclear war and things like 'what you need in case of an attack'. Is there any particular reason for this other than to crank up the fear factor of us yanks another notch or two?

Next thing you know they'll be showing War of the Worlds and telling us to stay indoors.

They are not talking about war, they are talking about earthquakes, hurricaines, and other natural disasters. I think more people need to get their acts together and be prepared. The government ain't going to help us.

IT was about what to do in case of a nuclear attack. And although we should be prepared to an extent, quite frankly I don't think there is a hell of alot more to do other than have non-perishables on hand and some candles. Other than that, fuck it, I'll deal when it happens.
