Default Mother and daughter give birth 7 minutes apart

Mansfield, Ohio - A 39 year old mother and her 21 year old daughter both gave birth within ten minutes of each other earlier this week.

Theresa Crouse, had a healthy baby boy at 11:20am.
Her daughter, Carrie Gresh, did the same at 11:27am.

Dr. Allison Pruitt delivered both babies at MedCentral-Mansfield Hospital. There were no complications.

Gresh recalled how she and her mother both suffered morning sickness around the same time last year. Though initially dismissing it as the flu, they would later be informed of their pregnancies by their doctors.

"I had been wanting to have a second child for more than 20 years," Crouse said. "I was told I wouldn't be able to have any more children. So this is a miracle."

Gresh added, "We thought we'd be delivering hours apart. It's going to be interesting seeing both of them grow up and go to school together."

How neat! I saw them on TV-darling babies!

That's nice for them, but newsworthy?? A friend of mine and her mother had a similar experience here, and it was not a big deal. Must have been a slow news day.

I think the Mom's kid is way cuter than her daughters. It doesn't really have that bloated cranky baby look.

(I've never had kids so I'm still not quite to the point where I think newborns are hopelessly adorable. They all look like bloated aliens to me)

well that's because they do look like bloated aliens but they are still cute in their own little screwed up way

I wasn't cute ... I looked like E.T. for the first few weeks or so. I think I was 5 lbs 3 oz. I got significantly cuter after I gained some weight. God, I wish that was they way it worked now....
