Police: Teacher says he molested more than 100 students

ONTARIO, California (AP) -- -- A substitute elementary school teacher was charged Friday with lewd and lascivious acts involving a 10-year-old girl, and police said he claimed to have molested more than 100 students.

Eric Norman Olsen, 28, of Ontario, told detectives that he molested between 100 and 200 elementary school students since becoming a teacher three years ago, said police Detective Diane Galindo. He was scheduled to be arraigned August 8.

Police said his resume shows that he has taught in different school districts throughout San Bernardino, Riverside and Kern counties.
A phone number for Olsen's residence could not be located. It wasn't immediately clear whether he had an attorney.

The probe began on June 13 after a male student allegedly witnessed Olsen molest the 10-year-old girl and told school officials, Galindo said. Olsen did not have a criminal background.
Police were asking the public to help identify whether there were other possible victims by contacting local police or school districts.

How in the hell is he able to get away with molesting 100 - 200 children?! As a substitute, he'd have to have been almost constantly molesting to violate that many in a 3 year span. No one noticed before now?? Unreal.

He deserves to rot in prison.

Isn't it amazing how kids stay quiet about things like this? It makes you wonder WHY? Are parents not talking to their kids about sex? I'm sorry, but when I have kids, sex will be an open topic in my house. Talk of penises and vaginas will be common knowledge because I don't want my kids to be naive. I want them to know what's not acceptable touching and they're gonna be fully aware that there are perverts out there. It's sad, but we just can't keep our kids innocent anymore. We can't. It's just too dangerous. Your kids have to be able to tell you anything--even if it pertains to their 'privates' and things of a sexual nature. If any S.O.B. even tries to touch my kids, I want my kids to run and tell me A.S.A.P. and not be scared or embarrrassed about it. I want them to be vigilantes and brave little sonofaguns like "Oooh, you I'm sicking my mama on you...."..lol
