Ok..first thing I thought of was what did he do to her to make her do this..

Hancock County Investigators described a horrific domestic violence incident Friday, and said warrants have been issued for a Diamondhead woman who allegedly poured a pot of boiling oil on her husband while he was asleep.
According to investigator Ricky Fayard, deputies responded to a call in Diamondhead Friday at 2:18 a.m.
"The suspect allegedly loaded two children in a vehicle, and went back into the house and poured a pot of boiling oil on her husband while he was asleep."
The suspect took the victim's wallet, identification, and money as well, Fayard said.
Fayard said the burns were so severe deputies had to pick up skin and place it into plastic bags.
"The victim sustained second-and-third degree burns to his face, neck , arms, and upper body," he said.
"The skin came off like a glove. It was a horrific scene."
The suspect Edna Miller was not located and investigators have issued a BOLO (Be On The Lookout For) on the nationwide computer. Miller may have fled to Louisiana, Fayard said.
The victim was taken to the burn center at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, he said.
Warrants have been issued on Miller for aggravated assault, domestic violence. The motive is not known at this time, Fayard said.

He should consider himself lucky she stayed away from his lower body. Maybe he didn't fuck up too bad!

Since I couldn't tell until I clicked to read this...a bit relieved that when I did it said *husband* instead of *child*. Don't think I can take another evil mommy story.

That's just horrible. Burns are the most painful kind of injury. She could just be psycho and he hasn't actually done anything.

It reminds me of the movie "The Burning Bed" with Farrah Fawcett. Can't remember the name of the woman it was based on. She put her kids in the car and went back into the house and set his bed on fire. He was a violent abuser. The motive for this is probably the same.

I guess I shouldn't assume that the husband did something to her, but that is usually the case in these instances. I'll bet he was abusing her or her kids. That's enough to drive someone over the edge.

Me, too. although I think it's worth stating that when we hear a storie about a man assaulting/killing his wife, we never (usually) start off assuming that she must have done something to provoke it. Even if she did something terrible, like cheating, we usually say his actions weren't justified. We give women the benefit of the doubt, but there really are plenty of women out there with evil motives. We had a woman shoot her husband because he found out about her gambling debts.

Man, you hear all kinds of stories about this. ***THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE RACIST IN ANY WAY*** but most of the time, it is black women...my sister works at a hospital, and she has told us about women pouring grits, oatmeal, hot oil-anything hot, thick and sticky becomes a weapon.
I don't advocate violence against women or men, but I hope that these women were at the end of their rope when they decide to do this....The only thing I can think is--bet he won't fuck with her again...
ETA they charged her with domestic violence. I am curious to see how many charges/complaints he has on record. It is very possible that he has abused her for years and no one would/could do anything...stranger things have happened. Guess she had enough....

I cannot find any updates on this. Since you are in Mississippi could you follow this to see what it was about? Maybe you would have more luck than me being it would be somewhat local news down there?

She didn't kill him. And she stayed away from his dick. That's a little love spat compared to a guy strangling his preggo wife and throwing her in the river.

Just curious...the local one here? Or in Memphis? Cause there's nothing quite like a weekend night around the first of the month at the ERs of any of these hosps. within the tri-state area....especially if it also falls under a full moon!

The hospital was actually in Clarksdale...about an hour and a half from Memphis area...
