Hurricane for Florida/Gulf Coast?

This is Chris..right now a tropical storm..but forecast to be a hurricane and close to Florida in a few days. See pic.

I was in Miami when Rita hit last year - it was just after Kathrina and everyone was paranoid, there were orders to evacuate for people in houses, we were in an appartment right on the ocean, I spent the night watching the windows, scary stuff

I hope this doesn't turn into anything scary. It's been quiet down here this season and we haven't had one hurricane yet. *keeps fingers crossed*

Expect gas prices to go through the roof in this area any minute. I need to watch and see what is being forcasted now...

Well looks like it kind of fell apart but once it gets over the warm waters it will blow up. Im not so nervous if it comes for the Texas coast really, its the oil rigs and the damage it will do to them. Damaged oil rigs = super high gas prices. SUCKS!!!
