Emergency responders have been sent to a high school in western Pennsylvania after multiple students were reported stabbed.
According to county officials, a suspect has been taken into custody and at least six people are reported stabbed at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, Penn., about 15 miles outside Pittsburgh. Their conditions were not immediately known.
It was not clear if all the victims were students, or if the suspect in custody was a student or employee of the school.
The school district posted an emergency message on its website on Wednesday.
"A critical incident has occurred at the high school," the message said. "All elementary schools are canceled, the middle school and high school students are secure."
