NUDE YOGA FOR GAY MEN GETS DRESSED AND INVITES WOMEN

COLUMBUS, Ohio - After taking many polls, responding to many e-mails and talking to local Yogis and Yoginis to figure out what it is that the community at large wants in a Yoga studio, Yoga Shiva owner Paul Fogarty is taking the plunge.

As of March 14 Yoga Shiva opened its doors to all people, male and female, who would like to practice Yoga. Mixed sessions, with men and women, are offered Mondays, 6:30 p.m. led by Lizandra Vidal, men only Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, a mixed session, 6:30 p.m., led by Paul Fogarty.

"Although we began on this journey in Yoga business to recognize gay men in particular that prefer to shed their clothing as they practice their Yoga, we realize that this is not the
most important aspect of Yoga at Yoga Shiva," Fogarty said. "The most important aspect, pure and simple, is your Yoga, not whether you have clothes on, not how much money you have, not how much you weigh and certainly not your sexual orientation."

**Do they stil have the nude yoga on the men only nights?

Nude yoga?!?!?!!?

I've taken yoga in the past and I cannot imagine having to do it nude! Too distracting, not to mention too smelly when there's no clothing to mask/mute the natural farting that occurs in some positions.

You've had the farting experience as well? I can't believe sometimes how much I fart while practicing positions. It must be something about working the inner organs.

And I have to agree with Grimm....some of the positions done nude would really put me off my lunch.

Oh, man. That brings back hideous memories. The guy that posed for our class shaved ALL his body hair, then greased himself up with baby oil.

What was the point of nude gay yoga anyway? I doubt that all the guys were hot or muscular, that just seems gimmicky to me.

There'd be no point in doing nude yoga unless you were hot and muscular. .. at least I would hope so..

Well most nudists are definitely not hot and muscular. Why would nude yoga have to be any different? I am so tired and over everyone(especially gay people) having to be so perfect looking(ie hot, muscular, etc.). The societal ideal is getting farther and farther from the societal reality. No wonder so many people have eating disorders, ruin their health with over exercising and work-out drugs(steroids)..are having PS to try and look(or stay) young and 'hot'...and are so judgmental about everyone's appearance..including their own. And is it any surprise that the most "hot and muscular" so often turn out to be the most vain and egotistical, emotionally stunted, with no deep thoughts or nothing important or interesting to say?

Gay men come in all shapes, sizes, colors, ages, etc.. We are not all gym sculpted shaven-bodied Ken dolls.(nor should we be).

Ah, the ball sack. Has anyone else ever noticed that when you see a man from behind and he's bending over naked, the view is strangely reminiscent of a doberman?
