LONDON, Ont. -- The bodies of eight adult males were found in a farmer's field Saturday morning in a normally quiet southwestern Ontario community.

The bodies were found near the village of Shedden, about 20 kilometres west of St. Thomas.

Police were not disclosing many details about the bizarre crime scene, except to say that four vehicles, including a tow truck, were involved and that the dead were all adult males.

"We're not in a position to reveal how they were murdered," Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Dave Rektor told a hastily assembled news conference.

Rektor refused to confirm speculation that all eight had been shot to death.

"I won't confirm at this point what the persons were killed by."

Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Dave Rektor said the bodies were found in three vehicles and there may be more victims.

"We were called this morning at around 8:30 a.m. when a property owner out in a rural part of Elgin County discovered a grisly crime scene," Rektor said.

"The vehicles (were) in a wooded part of a farmer's field and at this point we've called in all our resources to investigate this homicide."

Polce said the property owner is not a suspect.

The discovery in Elgin County is sure to shake up the community, Rektor said, which is known for being peaceful.

"It's going to have a huge effect on the population here. It's rural Ontario, we're not accustomed to these kinds of incidents unfolding in our backyards,'' he said.

"Elgin County is a great county, it's known for being very peaceful and a laid-back type of area, so this is definitely not common in this area."

Ys, I'm bigoted against people who would use violence and gunfire to prove their manhood at the expense of innocent young girls who get shot in the fucking head, in broad daylight, on the main street of Toronto during Christmas.

We need to have a Death Match with all these fuckers. I say bring all the gang members, bikers, mob etc to the Skydome, let them kill each other, and the last man standing wins.

The right to be paraded naked up Yonge Street and anyone effected by the violence gets to throw stones at him until the fucker is dead.

May they all rot in hell.

That's frighteningly close to the Island of Pogrom that I invented, where all the religious nuts could go and oppress each other.

I suppose it could work for gangs too..hmm.. in fact, why not combine the two ideas?

I'm afraid that you have just about pissed me off. I'll have to consider my retaliation technique, but be forewarned. As I get my ducks in a row let me ask you Grimmlok, do you really put religious nuts and gangs together as the same in your mind? Before you answer, let me ask you, what is your definition of 'religious nuts'? Anyone who doesn't think the same as you?

Religious nuts: ANYBODY who uses their belief system to oppress, harrass, abuse, censor, restrict, blackmail, moralize the general population or promote hatred/bigotry in speech, deed or written media.

Sounds like the mafia, doesn't it? So yes indeed religious nuts are a gang of thugs. That's not even in debate, it just is. Both groups have a common ancestor.

Now, there are NICE religious people.. the ones who keep their faith to themselves, but will tell you about it if you ask. The ones who are charitable to a fault, pleasant and who have an open mind. The ones who actually adhere to the teachings of their faith and don't twist it into something spiteful and mean. I've met people like this, and they're wonderful because their faith is strong and they are GOOD PEOPLE. Those are not religious nuts. There's a big difference.

So please, line your ducks up. I have some orange basting sauce I'd love to use on them.
