Default 13 year-old uses C-word on The Today Show- Twice!

I don't know if this belongs in the News forum or Miscellaneous or what, seeing as Michael K technically isn't news. However, it is ABOUT the news. Aaannnd I just wanted to hear the GR comments on this one:

The Today Show Gets A Double Visit From The C-Word

Normally when the Shakespearean word "cunt" pivots and leaps off of someone's tongue on live TV, I get all warm instead because I know that it will land on the ears of people who have never heard it before. And that's a beautiful thing. But this morning's cunt bomb on Today was bittersweet, because it came from a 13-year-old girl who is a possible accomplice to a brutal beating of another girl over text messages. And the girl didn't namedrop Heather Mills just once. Girl did it twice!
So yeah, a 13-year-old girl blows out the cunt word like they taught it to her in school (which they should) while talking about her involvement in a beating. Obviously, this girl was expelled from Latarian Milton's Hood Rat Stuff Academy, because she took doing bad things to a whole new scary level.
Why oh why couldn't this cunt bomb from a different 13-year-old girl? You know, I'm going to blame Meredith Vieira for this. She's the one who should've done the cunt bomb honors. It should've come out of her mouth! She knew it was coming and she should've taken care of it herself. Damn you, Meredith! And yes, that's my final answer.

I can't figure out how to embed the video over here so go check it out on Dlisted or Gawker TV.

It was bound to happen since they asked her what the note said. She was probably nervous and just went BLLLLLAAAAAAAHHHHH that's what it said. And to be honest, we've had a little problem at school with teh eight year olds. One has been teaching the rest to say motherfucker. The parents are doctors, which makes it even more odd. I'd expect it from the kids of the musician and artist parents but the doctors?

An acquaintance of mine - British born - throws that word around easily. She once said it in a work meeting (thankfully a small departmental meeting where we could speak openly). A few of us jumped on her and explained how it is inappropriate for work environment and viewed as quite offensive, she said it's used rather casually in England. I have never confirmed that with anyone else.

I do recall it is used rather casually in Lady Chatterly's Lover too. (random - but it popped into my head! )

I have an Aussie friend who uses the word regularly. I think it's tossed around freely there too.

I did, but then we were boring suburban kids who tried to use the most shocking words we could find. And our older siblings provided them.

Seriously? You think they kids of doctors would refrain from bad language because their parents are doctors?
