Director of ‘Planned Parenthood’ Abby Johnson resigns

Texas, Nov 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The director of Texas based ‘Planned Parenthood’ has resigned after 8 years of working there. Abby Johnson came to this difficult decision after she watched an ultrasound of an abortion. She also revealed that her bosses at work pushed her to raise the number of abortions performed at the clinic due to financial woes.
She now works for her archrivals ‘Coalition for Life’ who used to protest against her office. Her heart changing moment came when she saw the ultrasound of an abortion.
“I could actually see it was a 13 week old baby and I could actually see the side profile of the baby on the ultrasound,” she said. ” And I could see the cannula going into the uterus. And I could see the baby moving away from the cannula trying to get away from the probe.”
“That was just life changing for me,” she added. “I had never seen that done before.” She also said there is no spirituality in the abortion industry.
“There can’t be. You’re taking human life and that’s what it is,” she added. “Pro-choice or pro-life, you’re taking human life and there’s no spirituality there.” “I struggled with it for a long time,” she explained about her experiences. ‘But you learn to justify it somehow and I’ve learned over the years and through this conversion that if you’re doing the right thing, you shouldn’t have to justify it.”

She worked in the abortion industry for years and never saw/knew what took place during an abortion? Yeah, okay. It sounds more like Coalition for Life pays better than Planned Parenthood.

Obviously, the fetus knew what was going on...

Seriously, I am personally not in favor of abortion, but believe every woman has the right to choose. I'm skeptical as to whether she saw an actual abortion, or did she see a propaganda video of one, that could have easily been doctored to make it look like the fetus was "trying to get away"?

Yeah, I wonder if she saw an actual procedure or a video with some anti-choice slant to it. A termination is a medical procedure, I doubt they let administration staff wander in willy nilly and watch the preliminary ultrasound.

I'd love to know how she went from volunteer hand holder to director in 8 short years. Yawn.... By director I think they mean "office manager" by calling her the "director" they are trying to suggest "medical director" which of course would make the change of heart to have greater sensational value.
