Feck: Father Pilarskiego is led away

Meet Father Edward Pilarskiego, a real-life Father Jack. He drinks and smokes away the collection money and peppers his sermons with foul language.

Not any more, though, after parishioners snapped, dragging him from his pulpit and throwing him out of the church, still clutching a bottle of vodka.
Villagers claimed the 62-year-old cared nothing about the church. 'He was nothing but trouble. Having no priest is better than having that one,' said one resident of Parciaki, in the Mazovia region of Poland.

Parishioners even changed the locks on the church so he couldn't get back in.
With echoes of comedy hit Father Ted and his drunken cohort, Father Jack, Fr Pilarskiego hid inside while they were doing this before making a last-ditch slurring plea for clemency.

Hell, even I'd consider going to church to see that hot mess.

Actually - I'd even consider applying for the job. Drinking and swearing: two things I'm bloody good at!

I think this guy was actually a marketing genius - what a way to get bums on pews.

Actually, if there was booze on hand, he could have gotten real 'bums' in to sit on the pews! You'd have full attendance ... but possibly very little coin in the collection plate.

Pretty much they all drink. My ex mil use to be pretty close with one and he told her he drank a lot because it was his way of coping with all the problems he was dealing with from the congragation. I know I would not want to be burdened with peoples' deep darkest secrets and not being able to tell anyone.

This guy is a genius! I know I would wake up at the crack of dawn on the weekend and wait outside a church for hours to get a seat to see this! I might even be willing to miss football!
