Chrissie Brodigan, 32, takes the "L" train every day to work in Manhattan and says she brings along her partially blind pug, "Dempsey" in a special carrying bag. But Monday night, in the intense heat, she says the dog threw up. So, she took him out of the bag in the Bedford Ave. Station and that's when a transit cop named Joel Witriol allegedly confronted her, demanding I.D. that she didn't have.
"I said if you're not gonna give me a ticket, I'm out of here," said Brodigan to PIX News. "Then he pushed me against the wall and handcuffed me."
In addition, Brodigan also claims Witriol kicked her ankles apart.
Another subway passenger, Melissa Randazzo, started snapping photos with her I-phone and called 911 as the situation heated up.

"He was very agitated, saying the same thing, "If you're gonna act like a woman, I'm gonna treat you like a woman," said Brodigan.
But another commuter who saw the scene reportedly said Brodigan cursed at the officer and hurled anti-Semitic remarks at him.
"I didn't notice he was Jewish," said Brodigan. "I said he wasn't acting human and he had problem with women."
Brodigan says she was physically carried out of the subway station by cops - getting three tickets at a transit precinct.
When PIX News tried to reach to Officer Witriol at home, a woman who answered the phone told us "he's not available." But a reporter Wednesday asked Police Commissioner Ray Kelly about allegations the woman was manhandled.
"There's no indication of that," said Kelly. "That's an appropriate issue to be referred to the civilian complaint review board and we've referred it to them."
Chrissy Brodigan, though, has one last question about protocol for sick dogs.
"Is it humane to leave the dog in the crate, or is it more humane to take the dog out of the crate?" she asked. "I don't mind paying $75 dollars for breaking a rule."
