Relatively new and confused.
I am trying to contribute but I seem to forget so many things like full names in titles and I have been "warned" twice. Does this happen alot or am I just bad?

I wouldn't know, since I tend to be a piggybacker. I just piggyback onto threads that other people take the trouble to start.

Aww bless you. I've never actually been warned but I know what you mean. I think a lot of posts and threads get 'fixed' because the site has been having problems with sueing because of unsourced articles etc, i think.
I don't contribute too much by starting my own threads because there are a lot of rules to stick too and I'm not here often enough to be on top of them all!

We warn anyone who doesn't follow the posting rules (and that is posted in a sticky at the very top of the gossip forum Please Remember To Include Your Source In Articles and use Full Names!). In order to be following the rules and keep us from getting sued, as well as making it easier to search the forums, you must put the full names in your thread title and post the actual link to the article.

At the risk of sounding mean...
Look it's not that big a deal. Just remember to use full names and complete links to the source. Everyone has flubbed up occasionally here including me but don't make a federal case out of it. Learn and move on.
I just get cranky with it because I would hate to lose the board because people don't follow the rules.

Yep. Just remember to cut and paste the address of the website you got the article from underneath it, and you're good to go.

Totally understand Wonderwoman! I too have been warned when I accidentally left something out too. Felt horrible. Didn't want to ever start a thread again. I am still leery, and get nervous, so I tend to just comment and not start anything....
But I give you a huge thumbs up for coming in and trying! Thats what we need around here!! Good for you!! Thanks!
