hmm not that i know of, welcome azafata!
Hello Azafata, I'm half Polish. My Mum was born in Bydgozcz (spelling?) then moved here with my Dad and popped out me! Welcome
I only know two Polish words: tak and dobra. I guess it won't take me far... Oh, wait, it could take me very far
Tenaj, it's Bydgoszcz tough word for a foreigner I'm from Kraków, BTW
Barbara, don't you know some swear words? most foreigners coming to PL seem to know them perfectly.
My friend was married to a Polish girl, and we met some
dockworkers. They were huge and could drink like fish.
And I just stumbled across some of these awesome Polish posters
for American flicks:

Not from Poland but my youngest child is going to Poland this summer for a month! Glad you've joined us here, I might have to pick your brain and ask you about Poland sometime when you have the time if you don't mind.Originally Posted by Azafata

Ooh I didn't know you were Polish. I'm half Polish myself, gosh we'll have posters from all over the world soon.Originally Posted by marvel

I've never been to Poland, but I had a Polish colleague and when she talked to friends on the phone those were the only two words I understoodOriginally Posted by Azafata
There are lots of Polish people where I live, this colleague and another friend of mine both come from a place near Krakow. I have no idea how to spell it, it sounds something like "Sheshuf"
My dirty-old-man uncle married the Polish au pair - does that count??
I've never liked lesbianism - it leaves a bad taste in my mouth

Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.
Not from Poland, but Grandma was, and she was a great cook with great stories.
^^ I love the cooking too. My mums tomato soup with macaroni is to die for and I also love Bigos (however you spell it)
