I love that song! That's a great song. My only criticism of that song is the end, where he sort of sings "cigarettes and chocolate milk" twice to end the song. Besides that, it's a gorgeous and wonderful song.
I'm listening to Rosa Passos. Still. Her voice is PURE JOY. It is impossible for me to be in a bad mood when I listen to her sing.

the fox in the snow (live at the barbican) - belle & sebastian
i rarely listen to live albums - they're just disappointing for the most part. but belle and sebastian's live version of the 'if you're feeling sinister' album is just gorgeous.

OH I love that! There's a youtube clip of them doing Into the Mystic (I think they're outside in front of a stone wall) that is amazing. Find it if you can.

I've been switching off between James Blunt, James Morrison, The Duhks, Chloe Agnew and Paolo Nutini over this last week.
Wow, I'm thinking that's a strange mix.

I found this great site.. IndieForBUNNIES.com... and it has this extensive list of the Top 100 Albums for 2007 and I found some great new artists on there.. I've just finished downloading the mp3s to my iTouch...
The Sounds: "Painted By Numbers," and "Song With A Mission"
The Weather Underground: "Nickel and Dime," "Neal Cassady," and "A Leap Into the Void"
Page France: "Hat and Rabbit"
I loved Keren Ann before, but I found this great song of hers I hadn't heard before.. "Sailor and Widow"
Shivaree: "I Close My Eyes"..
All new faves.

Joan Baez - Diamonds and rust
I uberlove that song. I first heard it from Judas Priest and wasn't sure who'd come first, though... In either version it is an amazing song.
