It's my favorite followed by The Suburbs and Half Light II (No Celebration). Great album.

I bet my song is longer than any of your songs!

YouTube - ‪Live at Pune - Pt Shiv Kumar Sharma and Ustad Zakir Hussein‬‎

When I need to concentrate while I work, I like to listen to Jugalbandis (Indian concerts where two master musicians play against each other). They last for over an hour, are very soothing, and you don't have to switch to a new video all the time and get distracted.

In a break from the usual stream of good music here, I give you a crap one. I think this is the most scathing wiki music article ever.

Wiki says: "Brokencyde has been universally panned by critics. Metal Edge magazine has called Brokencyde "fucking horrendous".[14] "Thrash Magazine" has called them "a mockery to the world of music". Cracked.com contributor Michael Swaim said the band sounded like "a Slipknot-Cher duet".[15] [16] British commentator Warren Ellis calls Brokencyde's "FreaXXX" music video "a near-perfect snapshot of everything that’s shit about this point in the culture".[17]"

And here is the video they speak of: YouTube - ‪brokeNCYDE "Freaxxx"‬‎!

hey, i know that one. it's lovely. they are indeed very relaxing to listen to. i usually play them late at night. or sometimes even when i'm tired but can't immediately go to sleep. there's one jugalbandi that i can listen to for hours on end. it's the one where ali akbar khan, nikhil banerjee and mahapurush misra are all playing together. without a doubt, one of my all time favourite recordings. it's intensely beautiful and moving.

Thanks for the vids, Calcifer. I'd like to see a jugalbandi in concert once, to see what the ambiance is like.
