How could they block them, they belong to the people to use, respect and enjoy.
There is an old theater, perfectly preserved at the foot of Acropolis, and it is used every day ,all summer.
Watching the Bolsoy ballet performing there is unforgetable.

Beastie boys were awesome!!! I think this time was the best we've ever seen. They interacted with the crowd so much. I loved the new stuff too. I had no idea when they first started out they were so punk rock, found that out on the first song they played when I got thrown into a mosh pit right infront of where I was standing. NOT FUN. It was like 90 degrees too, and they came out in full business suits, I was dying in a tank and capris.

Foreigner - Madison Square Garden - NY
    Joe Jackson - Paladium, NY
Stray Cats - Fountain Casino, NJ
Buster Poindexter (David Johannsen) - Zanadu, Asbury Park, NJ
    Bruce Springsteen - Meadowlands, NJ

Rick Springfield (my 1st concert- I was 12)
    Def Leppard
    Tesla
    Vince Gill/Reba McIntyre
    Wynnona/Billy Ray Cyrus
    Poison
    Ozzy
    Smashing Pumpkins/Garbage
    Kiss (Reunion Tour)
Kid Rock/Metallica/Ted Nugent/Sevendust (New Years Eve Millenium Bash)
    Marilyn Manson
    Godsmack/Staind/Cold/Static X
Kenny Chesney/Brooks and Dunn/Sugarland/Sara Evans/Pat Green (Flip Flop Tour last Saturday at Ford Field)
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't remember ever being at a concert that I thought sucked they were all good, but the ones I've highlighted in red are my favorites. I like just about all kinds of music as you can probably tell by my choice in concerts. The Flip Flop Tour concert I went to last Saturday was so much fun and each performer put on a kick ass show. My husband and I were so close to the stage, it was great! It was an early anniversary present for us both.

I'd love to see Marilyn Manson but I dont like his fans. You know the ones that go to the extremes. I get freaked out too easily.

I also would have preferred to see him in his earlier days. I like his new album but i think he's less interesting nowadays.

When did you see him lisalucy?

Well I love me some Weezer. I've been to their concerts again and again, and they're the best. They almost always end with a sweet epic ballad "Only in dreams" which has a stirring solo and a great slow-building, then bursting climax, at which point they stream confetti from the rafters and fill the place with beautiful blue light. Makes my heart want to explode with happiness, love, sadness. Beautiful music.

Their flying =W= sign is pretty awesome too.

    Other concerts:
Debbie Gibson (stfu, I was 12)
    America
Run DMC (I sang into the mike on "Walk This Way!")
    The Queers
    Mr. T Experience
    Rooney
    Elton John
    Shania Twain
    Sting

Aww...Joe Jackson is so great. Seriously love him, but never saw him live.

I saw Social Distortion 15 years ago at a bar in Detroit. We hung out with Mike Ness afterward. He was very nice, although a bit gritty for my delicate, suburban tastes. My girlfriend was happy enough to let him defile her, though.

I was lucky to see most of the punk/new wave groups of the 80's:

    English Beat
    The Clash
    The Go-Go's
    Gang of Four
    U2 (REM opened for them)
    Nina Hagen
    The Cure
    Adam Ant
    Siouxsie and the Banshees,
    Black Flag
    Einsturzende Neubauten
    Circle Jerks

There are dozens more that I don't recall. And now I hate seeing live music.
