Black Sabbath's Electric Funeral. I seem to be going through a classic metal kick lately.

These days it's "Boys Don't Cry" by the Cure. Sometimes "In Between Days", but mostly "Boys Don't Cry". I always found Robert Smith so Byronic.

Landed by Ben Folds, I really love this song, so i don't mind it being stuck in my head.

"I Don't Feel Like Dancin'" by Scissor Sisters and, ironically, it makes me want to get up and dance. Love it!

My son & I listened to Monty Python in the car the night before last. This song is not in my head NOW thank goodness, but it was when I woke up today, and I could not shake it. For the entire time that I showered, put on makeup, dried & styled my hair, I heard in my head:
Immanuel Kant was a real pissant
Who was very rarely stable.
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
Who could think you under the table.
David Hume could out-consume
Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, [some versions have 'Schopenhauer and Hegel']
And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
Who was just as schloshed as Schlegel.
There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya
'Bout the raising of the wrist.
Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed.
John Stuart Mill, of his own free will,
On half a pint of shandy was particularly ill.
Plato, they say, could stick it away--
Half a crate of whisky every day.
Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle.
Hobbes was fond of his dram,
And René Descartes was a drunken fart.
'I drink, therefore I am.'
Yes, Socrates, himself, is particularly missed,
A lovely little thinker,
But a bugger when he's pissed.

My daughter is in her Scooby-Doo phase, and I've been singing the damned song for WEEKS now - and not the new song, oh no, I'm rockin' it retro with the original...
