Britney, Janet Jackson - both whisper and all the backup noise drowns them out thankfully

Come on. Just because you don't like someone doesn't mean they can't sing. We're talking about people who really, really can NOT sing here, yet are famous for being singers. There are lots of mediocre singers, & Chad might be one of them, but he's certainly not BAD.

Thank you. I saw her too and she was awful!!

I don't see Bob Dylan as a singer so much as a musician. To me there's a difference - Bob's an creator, not a creation, if that makes any sense

I think you've confused me with someone else. I ... um ... uh ... like Celine Dion.

I think first u need to differentiate between those who have a good voice (or any kind of singing voice for that matter) and those who dont. Britney, Ashlee, Katy Perry, Janet Jackson, Hillary Duff etc. dont have a good singing voice. Mariah, Beyonce, Celine, Whitney, Christina and even Jessica Simpson have great singing voices, but (and here it comes to personal likes and dislikes) can't deliver a song decently or/and have a terrible manner of singing.

^^You think Jessica Simpson has a great singing voice? She sounds like two cats fucking while having a seizure. It's horrible.

Well honestly..when Jessica first started singing her voice wasn't all that bad at all. What happened to it I don't know.

^^Yeah, that's true. She's just awful anymore, and her neck and head jerking while she sings (on top of the lousy voice)just gets on my nerves.

Dont get me wrong, I hate JEssica's "singing", and her voice annoys me. But she does have a great singing voice if u judge it by range and power. Her singing technique (whispering mixed with screaming) is, however, AWFUL.

I saw Sheryl Crow live and she was absolutely horrible. Thought maybe she was having a bad day, but her follow up on Regis two days later was even worse.

REM absolutely SUCKS live. Saw them years ago on the Monster tour. They were completely out done by the then little known band known as Radiohead (who are fucking awesome, btw).

Tina Turner- rocked the house every time I've seen her.

    Fleetwood mac- incredible live

Sarah Mclachlan- what can I say? She's perfect.

Creed- best live rock band I've seen.

    these musicians are amazing live:

    the national
    nick cave
    patrick watson
    arcade fire
    depeche mode
    spoon
lambchop (have seen them at least 8 times and they never disappoint)
    calexico
    beck
    blitzen trapper
rufus wainwright (always very theatrical and he's so full of energy)
