Then there are actors who should not sing: Scarlett Johansson for starters.

^I don't mind Janet in some things. She's not great, but she's not horrible.

There were some kickass singers who are/were very good, and even great actors--Frank Sinatra, Cher, Ice Cube, Queen Latifah, Kris Kristofferson. Ice T does a good job on L&O: Sports Utility Vehicle.

But these people were actually talented in one area. Beyonce and Madonna aren't really talented in any area except marketing and egoism.

I saw the thread title and immediately thought Madonna...how the fuck is she absent from this list?! Add Britney, Beyonstage, 50 Cent, among others.

And DOLLY is wonderful! I love her! WTF????? She should not be on here. Hrmph.

Eminem was good in 8 Mile, I don't think he should continue acting though. Oh well.

I completely agree w/Mariah on there--she is absolutely terrible. I had the misfortune of seeing Glitter. I've been begging for that hour and 20 minutes of my life back ever since.

    My thoughts exactly!!

And err...I liked David Bowie in Labyrinth, he ruled that film, and his work in Zoolander was second to none

And I lurve Tommy, I remember catching it late night with no idea of what it was, and I was spellbound for the entire thing. Oliver Reed singing is a err....interesting experience!

I've never seen it. I've always wanted to, just to see how bad it really is. Maybe I'll netflix it & drink a lot.

Lobes you should, just for the laughs. I swear, you can just PICTURE the dude that holds the tear gun next to her for the 'crying' scenes. It's so utterly horrid.

Whitney did a GREAT job in "The Bodyguard"! She executed well.

BEYONCE, should be on this list.
