i LOVE nico.
scarlett's no nico, but the song is not bad. if i listened to this without knowing who it was, i would never think, 'wow, what a shitty song'. compared to the shit that is 99% of the singers on mtv, radio, etc... and compared to all the other singer/actresses, like aaliyah, jlo, kelly clarkson, etc... this is much better. i wouldn't rush out to buy the single but it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I agree completely. I think it's a lot better than the crap most of these girls put out. I think with work her voice could be kinda like Joplin (not the best voice in the world but something that pleases your ears). I like it better than the whiney, breathy, sexy shit these girls try to do.

I agree with the Mazzy Star comment and to a degree, she does remind me a bit of Nico. Also, she's still better than Britney Spears, the Pussycats Dolls, Jessica Simpson, etc. Doesn't mean I'll buy it, but it's better.

that is truely truely awful. I cannot fathom how bad the singing is. I thought all you lot were exaggerating somewhat, but that is on all kinds of wrong. Saying that, I only managed the first 30 seconds of it - it could have turned into Mary Poppins later on, but I doubt it. The video was up it's own arse too. Who does ScarHo think she is? Even LiHo is a better singer.
