Nirvana had a few good songs, but they could hardly play their instruments.

They're a horrible influence on rock.

It makes it seem that it's cool to sound like you hardly can play your instruments.

Michael Jackson was ok for 5 years, and sucked hard for the other 30 or so.

I personally hate every single glorified backup dancer that has followed in his path.

The Beatles are dull and droning.

I find that rap in general lacks musicality IMO.

I like some of it, but all the new stuff is fuckin retarded.

I totally disagree with Soundgarden. I do agree with many others though. Some on my list:

Every boy band from the '90s - 00's (the worst thing to happen to music since pretty much anything)
Britney, Cristina, Jessica Simpson (was she even a singer?)
    JLo
    Ricky Martin
    The Grateful Dead
    The Beatles
    Paul McCartney solo
    The Beach Boys
    Bon Jovi
    Phil Collins and Genesis
    Bob Dylan
    Sting (after The Police)
    Frank Sinatra
    Breaking Benjamin
    Pearl Jam
Courtney Love/Hole (sounds like a garage band of high school students)
    Amy Winehouse
    P Diddy
    Guns and Roses

sleigh bells - i like them. it's a good album. but it's not great or amazing like people make it out to be.

    moby

fatboy slim - i enjoy some of this stuff, but it's nowhere near as amazing as his fans would like you to think.

    -Oasis

    -Coldplay

-Tori Amos (I like quite a few of her songs, but a lot of her stuff is basically unlistenable).

    -James Blunt

    -Jeff Buckley

-Joss Stone (great pipes, now if she could only use them to stay on tune occasionally)

    I'd have to say:

Dave Matthews Band. Limp Bizcuit, Fall out boy, Linkin Park, Nickelback, Any number of those interchangeable solo guys with guitars, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz.
When your daughter plays "House," she pretends to be an annoying doctor with a pill-addiction and a limp.
