No, you're not the only one. I like alot of everything; but I really don't like much of the "country" music that makes it on the radio.
Have you listened to Todd Schneider?
The last one I went to was Marilyn Manson on March 2nd I believe and it was so awesome and I had such a great time. I don't get to go out often so I really have to pick and choose these days who I go see. Manson was so kick ass; I met some crazy fucking people. I met this drunk girl on the way to the bathroom and she was smoking inside while the lights were on and her friend said "she's really drunk" and then she said "I'm slur slur sooo drunkkk" and I was like "omg, you so need a bump or something put your cigarette out before you get caught and missed the show" Then she and her friend came over to where my friend and I were and she was all "she's hot... I want to kish (drunk) you" I was like "no!" the she started flashing her boobs and got some random girl next to us to do it too; it was hilarious and they had nice breasts. Oh, and the opening band... dear god that was so funny, the singer went into the audience to kick someone's ass because they kept throwing quarters at him screaming "you suck!!!!!!!!!!" GOOD TIMES!

you're not the only country fan. saw Pat Green at the Houston Rodeo. really good. what he did during "wave on wave" was awesome - during the breakdown the entire band started into U2's "one" and he sang a few bits of the chorus and a verse... so good. two of my fave songs together.
before that - i've seen tons of my friends' bands play... Madina Lake was the last band to see properly.

Fields of the Nephilim, a few weeks ago. They were great old-school goths, with heaps of energy on stage.

Last concert I went to was to see Sting and Annie Lennox, at some stadium in Bonner Springs, KS. Annie Lennox was Sting's opening act, and they both sounded spectacular live.

i like Pat Green.
i have to tell my completely dorky story about my meet and greet with Joe Nichols. it was in San Diego. a few months before that, i had 2nd row center seats and saw him in Portland and Seattle. Anyhow, at my m&g, i get up along side him, and i planned to say 'i saw you in Seattle with your Seahawks shirt on' but what came out of my mouth was 'I saw you in Seattle with your shirt on'. i just put my head down and said 'awww' . well everyone was laughing, including Joe, and i got 3 pics with him and a kiss. dork dork dork

Steve Miller Band, about 12 years ago. They were with The Allman Brothers Band and it was a great show.

The Trews, 4 days ago.
I'm going to see The Proclaimers next month!
I'll have to go by myself though, none of my other friends like them, heh.

Rage against the machine. That was the best concert ever. I previously had only seen hip-hop concerts, and the energy at the rage concert was un-like any thing I had ever experienced! it was majorly exciting. Ever since then, i've been wanting to see more rock concerts. The whole band were excellent performers. Especially the lead singer and the gutarist. Even the material of the songs had a striking message of being aware of the world and those who lead it. It was very empowering. Best concert ever!
