Hehe, yeah it was their 20 year anniversary tour. And surprisingly, despite all the drugs they've done over the years, they were amazing. Some straaaange people at that show though

Re: Last concert you've been to?
sunday i went to see robbie williams ... great show, so much fun!!! he's a fantastic entertainer!!!
on tuesday i saw cky and two other bands (i believe one was called "the knives" the other one was "viking ...(something)") in a small club. this knives band was pretty good, viking whatever wasn't my taste, reminded me of a mix of iron maiden and ac/dc.
the cky show was kinda weird. well, not really the show was weird, that was pretty good considering the circumstances. the crowed sucked as hell. never seen anything like it, i felt sorry for the band. the crowed was full of cky t-shirt wearing fans, during the songs there was a huge mosh pit but after the songs the people were totally quiet. the band was talking, making jokes but no reaction from the crowd. at one point the guitar player asked if "we" haven't come to see them ... no reaction ... he said that they could also leave if we wanted to ... again no reaction ... at one point i just yelled CKY and then a couple more started chanting the band name. totally weird! before the doors opened the people were calling the name but during the show you could have thought they were all dumb.
funny thing that happened (since i am not a huge fan and don't really follow them) i had no clue if it was going to be sold out or not. and i knew that i would only recognize the drummer jess (bam margera's brother) and the guitar player chad. chad walked by us once and i sure did recognize him but we didn't say anything. anyway before the show this one roadie kept coming outside so i asked him if he new if it was sold out .... it wasn't. later on when cky came on stage the roadie wasn't a roadie but the bass player
oops, sorry for rambling!

Re: Last concert you've been to?
^That's hilarious, Purple haze. I actually saw CKY open for the fake Guns N Roses a few years ago. You know, the one where it was just Axl, but no one else from the original band? Yeah, that kinda blew.
Anyhow, CKY got the short end of the stick because most of the crowd were chanting "AXL!. AXL!" during most of their set. How rude! I felt bad for them. Also, I read an interview by CKY and when asked about what AXl was like they stated, "Dunno. Never met him." Apparently, he was too good to talk to the band that he handpicked to open for him. Whadda Dick!

My sister and I saw Rascal Flatts last year, and are going again in October. Aerosmith is coming to Nashville (about 4 hours from us) in October, too...would love to see them.

I saw INXS back in May and it was the best concert I've ever been to. It was quite X-rated as JD proceeded to do things with a mic stand I've never seen done in public...with his grandmother 3 rows away. Anyone who has seen the concert will know exactly what I'm talking about.
Before that it was Michael Buble. Next best concert I've ever been to.

Last concert was Sept 2002 I believe and it was Creed. My son and I were invited to go with my nephew who is 30 by the way. Good concert but talk about a wide range of ages and the contact high I got was not good. Had a headache for days.

i could cry, i love Creed they are one of my absolute favourites, i was 15 when they came to Australia to do a concert in Brisbane my parents wouldnt let me go, i was devasted to make matters worse they broke up and now i will never see them in concert unless they do a reunion gig in Australia (yeah blutty right!!), ive never been to a 'real' concert

I'm headed to see the Rolling Stones at an outdoor concert today. 65,000 people expected.
