Last concert you've been to?

I saw Tesla back in the eighties with Def Leppard and they are just as great now as they were then. They are actually one of those bands who sound just as good live as they do on their album/cd. Jeff Keith has a kickass voice and the rest of the band is just as good. Another thing I've noticed about Tesla is that they've aged well. Dave Rude is the only younger/newer member, but the rest don't look so bad. That's the bad thing about 80's pretty boy bands, some of them aren't so pretty anymore.

It was at the Lakewood Ampetheater and we were out beyond the covered seating. It kept looking like it was going to storm, but never did. The wind was whipping at times, but not so much that it kept the advertising plane from letting us know that we could get in free at Club Cheetah with our ticket stub. Klassy stuff!

The last "actual" concert I went to was this year's Big Day Out, where I saw The Prodigy and Pendulum, amongst others. In 47 C (116.6 F) degree heat - and that was in the shade.

I saw men twice my size faint from how hot it got in the mosh pit areas.

The next one I'll be going to is Britney Spears in November.

Kind of a musical contrast there...

LOL the Big Day Out is insane - in the hottest part of an Australian summer. I think i'm getting too old for that stuff, I'm actually skipping the next one- I need a chair in the shade somewhere. And I was considering seeing Britney, but the $$ is a bit tight at the moment.
We actually had tix to see Jane's Addiction until the tour got cancelled, and Iwas quite bitter over that. If Def Leppards drummer can do it one-armed, surely and 'elbow infection' is no excuse to cancel a tour?! Hospitalisation?! pffft! Quite the bitter one.
Now I'm just waiting to see if Faith No More announce any sideshows when they tour here ... can you tell I'm stuck in 1992?

I caught Corey Chisel this past Friday, then Kings of Leon on Saturday. Both shows were total opposite in terms of venue, crowd size and genre, but both were phenomenal!

I love a lot of different kinds of music, usually rock is my thing though. I will be the first to admit that i cannot help singing along when i hear a Barry Manilow song. I'd go see him if i got the chance. Oh Mandy always gets me.

Been a KOL fan for years, way before they hit it big in the States. Were they good?

My last concert was Stone Temple Pilots. Junkie or not, Scott Weiland's still got it. He puts on one helluva show as frontman.
