break out your cardigans, ripped jeans and corduroy pants..
Brings back such fond memories I could cry!!!! That's how a whole bunch of my friends and classmates dressed.

Makes me so nostalgic and sentimental

I had friends who were in a band and they covered this song (Today by Smashing Pumpkins).

My first PROPER crush was on this guy, I don't know that he was grunge proper but OH MY GOD I was totally going to be his GF, even though I was only 13 and looked like a total dork. He'd've seen through that.

I remember crying when I saw him on Top of the Pops after shaving his hair off. I was gutted. And then when I saw those pictures of him cavorting with Courtney Love not long after Kurt died. Oh! The teenage heartbreak!

I had cherry red DMs onto which I painted Ren and Stimpy. They looked amazing. I also wore stripey tights and cheesecloth tops I bought from a festival in Bristol.

I remember him Rondette. I thought he was very cute. Didn't he date Winona Ryder, too? I don't think Lemonheads were grunge per se, their music wasn't as angst-filled?

But then this is the only song I remember...
