I like Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies. They are a cover band and just take pop songs and make them more rock. Their version of Don't Let The Sun Go Down on Me is the only version I can stand.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!! I LOVE TORI!

I loved her cover of Do It Again by Steely Dan, I'm lucky I didn't wear out the single! Her cover of Operator by Jim Croce is awesome and I love her cover of Thank You by Led Zeppelin. I wanted it played at our wedding but it would have been on the piano which would have been the same as my parents. I compromised and had it played during the reception and my father wanted to know "why is some skinny white girl shrieking and screwing up my song"!

I have bootlegs and "imports" out the ears!

Faith no More also has a great version of War Pigs! and I'm a big fan of the GnR version of Sympathy with the Devil.

Well, I'm probably much older than you guys, but I've always preferred Elvis' 1970 live version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" over the original by Simon & Garfunkel.

You can check out Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. All that they do is punk covers of popular songs. They're pretty good.

I actually thought No Doubt's cover of "It's My Life" was respectable. Also, "Neverending Story" cover version by T.H.T.
