I LOVE Johnny Horton. He was a favourite of my mother's and I heard him a lot growing up. He had a great voice and a lot of fun and poignant songs.

Jim Reeves was great. I like some of Johnny Cash's stuff. I also loved Wilf Carter growing up. I associate Hank Williams with my Dad, so it's good.

I HATED Conway Twitty at first and regretted so much buying my mother one of his CDs for her birthday because I was still living at home and I had to hear it all the time. But after several months he actually started to grow on me and I like several of his songs now.

I can't stand most of today's country music. Anything twangy is unbearable to listen to.

absolutely LOVE Toby Keith, seen him in concert many times. He's good about playing his old stuff too. He puts on a great concert. I'm not too crazy about his last couple of CD's though.

Does anyone have any gossip on Faith and Tim? I've heard things have not been going well with them and the CMAs and CMT have been snubbing them something awful, acting like they don't exist anymore, so I wonder whose puppy they killed.

They've put out nothing but shit for years might have something to do with it.

Okay I looked it up, faith hasn't put out an album since 2005: and Tim's last album in 2009 bombed severely, so cma and cmt had nothing to snub them over.

Travis Tritt's It's a Great Day to be Alive is our family theme song. Makes me want to go buy a harley and not shave for long periods of time and make soup. Really it starts off every road trip, makes me want to put the top down on the Jeep (along with Allman Bros. Jessica) and puts us in a great mood.
