If not trance, I tend to go for heavy metal or punk. It just depends on what sort of mood I'm in - what I need to get going.

also i know it sounds bizarre but i have the dark knight soundtrack and its amazing to listen to when running.. makes me feel all invincible like catwoman

I want to thank everyone for the suggestions too, and Bella for starting the thread. I have this problem - I'm exercising and got my I-pod in my ears but the songs don't go with the work out. I don't usually listen to really up tempo stuff but I crave it when I'm exercising and had no idea what to download.
