i love Billy Joel.
have never had the pleasure of seeing him live, but seen him on tv, live and i agree. also his millenium concert just evokes such enthusiasm from him.
i'd love to see him live, but i don't think he's played the Uk since the eighties (I was too young!)

i love classic billy joel but nothing after the late 80s
but i think it's only cause i feel really nostalgic when i hear it. one of those where you know that if you'd never heard of them and listened to them for the first time ever right now, you wouldn't like it as much.
i can't help it though, billy joel puts me in a good mood and makes me want to sing along.

I've seen him a few times in concert, and am a fairly big fan of his music. I also prefer his earlier stuff. Fave songs: Scenes from an Italian Restaurant, Only The Good Die Young, We Didn't Start the Fire (after seeing him sing it after Sept 11th I started to really like it). And about 7 more that I cannot think of right now...
The guy is talented, no doubt about it.....

Is he behaving himself? I remember he was having problems driving and spilling his drink and crashing into stuff.
