I think it originally started as something like a burlesque show and just kept growing into everything. I remember hearing about celebrities being guest performers in the Vegas show.

yeah they were a burlesque show, loads of celebs had a spot init like carmen electra, christina aguilera etc. i read that its only the lead singer who can actually sing the others cant hold a note they just shimmy about in the background.

I actually think it was formed with Carmen Electra, or at least she had a hand in it in the beginning. All I know is that she and Christina Appleate seems to appaer with the girls in regular spots. Then Carmen started up her own burlesque group when the pussy cat dolls got too mainstream and when she had a falling out with the actual founder and choreographer called the Bombshell babes. The fact that I know all of this is really scaring me.

I liked the pussycat dolls when they were simply a burlesque group and when they were only really known when a celeb - like Christina Aguilera and Scarlett Johannson - guested with them. This pop group thing is really really bad.

Oh and if anyone saw..I think it was the Charlies Angels sequel (you poor souls) the scene where the Angels were dancing like strippers wwas choreographed by the pussy cat dolls.

The PussyCat Dolls singers aren't from the Burlesque show. The woman that created the Burlesque show thought that it would be an awesome idea if she could have the same look but with singers. The whole group was put together. I think the lead singer is from Edens Crush ( Making the Band). The number one prerequisite was that the girls be totally gorgeous (I see that some of them fell through the cracks). Only the lead singer, the black girl and I think one other can sing. The others are strictly dancers.

I think they're all quite freaky looking, especially the ginger one she's hideous. That is a flattering picture too. I think the lead singer wants a solo career you can tell by the way she's always hogging the mic, and I don't just mean when singing I mean like in interviews, she never lets any of the others get a word in edge ways!

theres always one though isnt there whos like me me me! look at me! thats her. then theres always the quiet one who you can never remember the name of, im thinkin thats the one on the far right of the picture, then theres always a weird looking one which is the red head one, an there just happens to be 3 other members in this group who to be honest i couldnt pick out of a line up!

I'd only recognise the main singer and the ugly ginger one!! I'm getting to know all their faces a little better now though because I bought the dotcha single!! The one second from the left was rumoured to be dating James Blunt.
