Music played backwards

just read an article in a paper about this and thought it was funny. i haven't tried it since i am at work but i've heard of the "legendary" message when you play "stairway to heaven" backwards, that they supposedly say "oh, here's to my sweet satan"

^^ Isn't there some kind of strange dark band like Korn or something that have a song that when played backwards it says the lord's prayer??

There's a whole pseudo-science behind this "backward masking."
Some claim it's malarkey because everyone would put in subliminal
messages to sell more CDs and such.

There are some scientists, however, who believe that the subconscious
reveals itself through messages played backwards.

I think its a sort of suggestive listening thing...I can never hear what is supposed to be said until its pointed out for me and I know what to listen for...

except for that pokemon one...even when told what its supposed to say I dont hear it.

How interesting!!! I was listening to Stairway to Heaven about an hour ago, but it's on my i-river so I can't listen backwards. Spooky!

Backmasking. It's supposed to be a big satanic-conspiracy. I think it's basically your brain telling you what you want to hear. An interesting watch, but very long is "Hell's Bells - The Dangers of Rock and Roll". It's like 6 vhs tapes and was about 8 hours long. It was interesting to watch because of all the conspiracy theories and for the fact that my best friend and I sat in the church during the youth group lock in going "yeah, I have that tape" or "cool, I just recorded that off 98 rock". So, yeah, the holy message might have been missed that night.
