She sounds just so ordinary. I remember thinking how totally adorable she was in the How Will I Know video.

I don't really have a problem with her voice, I do however hate the kermit the frog that is signing with her.

I love this song. I've been listening to it on and off since Saturday. I could do without Akon on it, but the melody and double meaning to the lyrics makes this the perfect summer song.
As for her voice, considering that it was raspy & hoarse two years ago there's been definite improvement.

Yes, but don't forget this is the studio (= enhanced, spliced and filtered) mix.
I'll just wait and see how she does live. It's a shame, though, even if I never
liked her foghorn loud versions of practically every song she ever sang, she
did have a gift.

She's been singing live since December in different concerts. No hoarseness or raspiness. The only thing I noticed in those performances was that her breath control was still shaky in some spots, but she'll never sound like she used to.
