Well, most female "singers" today sound like little girls and can't really sing. Even the "singer/songwriters." Ugh. So sick of that.

I hate to admit it, but I think the song is pretty decent. I can only imagine how good it would sound with a real singer and a some work on the lyrics.

Exactly why I hate it.
I used to love these kind of songs because I could look past the inexperience and talent of the singer, but now it annoys me since there are so many excellent singers with crap songs (Leone Lewis, cough cough!) that could have had their hand at some well-written ones. Not that this is a well written song. I think it's a bit lame. Pleasant, but lame.
I'm getting very sick of these no talent ho's teaming up with emo and punks to destroy music.

She can't sing at all, zero range and just a harsh raspy voice. I can't
believe people are buying into this. Extremely repetitive and obvious
vocal tweaking, but honestly, not enough! They should have further
tweaked her sound and added more voice overs--she needs all the
'vocoder' she can get. The background instrumentals sound a lot like
Roison Murphy's music. I don't know, I'm not feeling it... very
unremarkable. On top of that, she sounds like a total bitch. I can
totally picture it being played at one of those Super Sweet 16 parties
on MTV.
I'll pass.
