Default Record of the year

1) Westlife - You Raise Me Up
2) McFly's 'All About You'
3) The Black Eyed Peas' 'My Humps'
4) James Blunt's single 'You're Beautiful'
5) Daniel Powter's 'Bad Day'

Can you believe My Humps was in there?? I know I love it but I thought I was one of few!!!

It must have been a very poor year if that's the shortlist for the best record

I think there was 10 to start with, these were the final 5 in winning order! I can't remember the other 5 but Gwen Stefani was in there and Kelly Clarkson.

I just watched Daniel Powter's video, I love the storyline. But I do love James Blunt.

No one around here has ever heard of McFly. I like them. Especially that song "Five Colors in Her Hair"

Westlife have won this several times. Tells you everything you need to know about who's voting.

Someone got desparate to enough, that they put a hand over their eyes to choose these results. Such a pity, none of them worthy of good music.

i do not really listen much to current stuff, i prefer listen to oldies or to 90s music, but one album i really liked this year is Oral Fixation by Shakira both volumes.

Westlife actually got bood because the studio audience wanted McFly to win, they were all little girl screaming their heads off for them! That use to be Westlife!

I was going to say isnt Westlife a "boy band' like a Backstreet Boys or "Nsync?
Have they "matured"?

My record of the year (and yes I'm showing my age) without a doubt is "Guilty Pleasures" by Barbra Streisand and Barry Gibb. Fantastic follow up to "Guilty" of 1980.
