What are you listening to?
I'm listening to March of the Swivelheads by The English Beat...known simply as The Beat to the English.
(Americans will recognize it from Ferris Bueller's Day Off when he's rushing home from his girlfriend's house to beat his parents. )

I'm listening to a Nashville band called The Whole Fantastic World. They're really nice and very, very talented.

I'm switching back and forth between "A Collection of Short Stories" by Houston Calls and "Everything In Transit" by Jack's Mannequin

I'm listening to Radio1 on the internet. Its John Peel day. Incase you don't know, he's a DJ that died a few months ago and I know this probably sounds really disrespectful but its really starting to piss me off. They've done nothing but talk about him all day and play old crappy records that he liked.
I'd never heard of him until he died but I still felt sad and listened to them talk about his life and acomplishments so why do they have to do it again months later?? Is this gunna be a monthly thing now, like a national holiday? Its getting too much now, they didn't go on this much when the pope died!

Right now I've got on Hugh Masekela's 'Promise of a Future.'
If you like jazz...especially trumpety jazz...then I highly recommend seeking it out on CD. It's not easy to find, though. The cheapest one on Amazon.com is $25 because the thing is OOP. I'm so glad I bought mine for $7 at Waterloo a decade ago.

I've been on a Black Eyed Peas kick lately, it's completely unexplainable b/c I'm not a hip hop person. I'm listening to Elephunk on MyTunes.
