I haven't ever really warmed to her music because the accent just irritates me soooo darn much because it's obviously put on (I believe in a generic accent for songs), but I heard her new single "Where I Stood" on Smallville today and I thought it was really quite beautiful. Definitely my kind of song...
If you want another good song of hers, try this: "The Special Two". The accent is major there but the chorus is really powerful!
Albeit corny?

I dont mind the Australian accent but having to listen to Higgins' singing with one is unbearable. Especially when she sings 'special two'.

Her voice grates. She writes her own song, so that's better than many manufactured pop tarts out there. Not a fan of either her voice or music.
