I gotta admit. I love the song too! And the video was horrible ...but not as bad as I thought it would be. All I know is that this video just shows how damn much this chick loves herself. She's the hottest shit that ever walked the earth!!!

The song is just haunting enough that it sticks in your head if you listen to it a few times, and its actually not too bad of a dance song. But this is no credit to Britney. She is just another tool that the producers used in the process, like a drum machine or synthesizer. Practically any female that can hold a pitch and breath heavily could have provided the limited vocal ability necessary to produce this song.

Okay, let me get this straight. Britney is at a bar in a cheesy wig. She sees a stripper dancing...who is also Britney. Britney humps the pole and flips her hair around.

A guy is watching, and doesn't look remotely interested. Brit's two friends go and dance with the stripper. More hair flipping. Some butt jiggling is added and then Stripper Britney leaves the stage. Guy still looks disinterested and wig Britney laughs at Stripper Brit.

Sometimes when I listen to "Gimme More" I picture Britney in the recording studio all zoned out and struggling her way through the lyrics just one time, then saying "I'm bored ya'll. I'm going to starbucks"
Its like the producers had next to nothing to work with...but they loop it and tweak it ... and voila! Gimmie, gimme more. Gimmie more...gimme, gimme more...

I don't like her singing, but I like the beat and rhythm of the song. I think it has a pretty good hook. And I've never liked her music before. Not that I'm big into music, but if it's got a good beat, I'll like it.

I agree, Crackho. (I wish i didn't) but i actually kinda like the song. Like you said, it's a good dance song. I could see myself out dancing to the good beat of this song with my girlfriends, singing along...IF it weren't by Shitney Spears. Because the fact that it's HER skanky ass singing, ruins it. I mean, it's being sung by a certifiably-CRAZY, heavily drug-addicted bald mess in a bad wig, who SHOULD BE fighting to get herself together & taking good care of her 2 babies....But instead she's singing about being "the center of attention" in some club with some random guy, loving that all the "flashbulbs" are going off (even though she complains till the cows come home about the paparazzi), and saying "Gimme more".--PUH-LEASE!!!!It's just pathetic when you think about it.

^^Exactly. Any good qualities this song has (i.e., the beat), the credit goes to the producer. Britney did not write this song, play any instruments, didn't come up with that beat or produce it, all she did was contribute her stupid off-key weird-voiced breathy vocals (which were probably way out of tune & had to be Autotuned to the brink of obliteration).
