30 Seconds to Mars
Actually a celeb band you don't need to hate yourself for liking. This is Jared Leto's band. www.thirtysecondstomars.com. They've been around since 2002, but I saw them a few months ago when they performed the opening night of a club in South Beach.
I just downloaded their new CD, A Beautiful Lie...the first single is "Attack"; it's the song you hear when you open the site. Pretty good!

They actually played in my city recently, opening up for Audioslave. I didn't get to see the show, but the newspaper reviews were awesome....

Neat! At first I was like, "Jared Leto? No way, gross!" But I really like them - I am going to check out their first CD when I get home.

I saw them when they opened up for audioslave in Toronto. The lead singer has a kick ass voice and I got to meet them as they had a meet and greet following their set.
