Anyone else disturbed by Justin Timberlake's "My Love" video?

I love the contrast between Justin's slow falsetto singing and the techno background, and the lyrics are very simple but beautiful.

I also love the coreography in the video and the black and white constantly switching.

That said, I must say that I found some scenes disturbing too, especially when he rips off the dancer's pantyose and when she shakes her ass in his face!

I can't really explain why I find it more uncomfortable than a random video by 50 Cent
Maybe because the rest of the scene is so bare and because Justin's expression looks so serious and like, concentrated like they weren't acting, and it all looks very surreal.

Yes, that's how I feel too! It's just that one short scene, but it's so...WEIRD!

I haven't seen it, now I'll make it a point not to. I suppose he's up to his usual, trying to act like a tough guy, propping himself up by putting others down. But the continued popularity of Little Lord Trousersnake is what disturbs me the most. I mean, people can do whatever they want, but what I don't get is why this guy has fans. Even that sucky new album couldn't sink him. Can no one drive a sexystake through his sexyheart?

URGH!!!!! I watched it, after nearly a minute I had to turn the sound down because it was grating on me.... then I got bored with the video.
I think that SVZ is correct that alot of the imagery is "uncomfomfortable" however, I truely believe that we've been de-sentizied to it due to continuous (boring) repetition! A bit like hitting your head on a wall - it feels good when it stops!!

I recently heard a JT song on a compilation & was shocked at how BAD it was (ok, he sounded talentless, it was badly written and sounded like he was trying to rip-off a rapper)

I don't know why, so don't ask me but I love this dude. I don't think he's attractive and he does have a grating personality but there is something about him that just makes me happy that he's in the entertainment world, haha

I don't think there's really anything lude or absurd about the video. I've seen farrrrr worse. I love this CD, like I said I don't know why, I just do. haha

The song itself isn't bad and grows on you, but that video is just so weird. The dancing is really cool, but the whole "I'm gonna rape you" vibe is kinda off-putting...

I fail to see why he's attractive too. To me he resembles a rat, maybe a cute little rat, but he's rodent-like nonetheless. Certainly not manly, a little pip-squeaky...a little guy with a high voice is just not my idea of hot or sexy. But I guess I'm in the minority because I've known people who will talk ad nauseum about how "hot" he is.

And most of his videos are just laughable with him posturing like he's a smooth, bad-ass ladies man with street cred or something. Please.
