I admit - I've always liked his music. I've listened to him for years. I've even met him a couple times, back in the mid-90s, I guess. It was around the time of his first album.

He's on the cover of People this week, & he discussed the gay rumours that resulted from the mysterious end of his marriage to Renee. He said something like, "I'm pretty firm in my sexuality and my love for women."
He talked about being very upset & hurt over the end of the marriage. I'm curious to see if he's going to get slammed & called a whiner. Equal opportunity, right?
At least he isn't acting like an insensitive clod. And the article did say that he and Renee have met a few times and talked. Maybe they can patch things up althought I doubt they will.
