Very simply put, one of the greats. (no bitchy comments about great what) If I had a soundtrack from my early years, the ones where everything still hurt and mattered, he would have a special place. A stylist, a talent, and in his day, a looker. Cheers, George.
Please fix my typo!!!

Yip, yip, yip in your tiny indignation. Bark furiously on, lady dog.
Those girls in my 7th grade English class didn't need a teacher to tell them about "suspension of disbelief"-some of them thought he was straight. I knew, even as a 12 year old, but why the hell did it matter? We still hated the rich slut in the Careless Whisper video.
He sure was dreamy and fun back in the day. Ahhhhh....
He declined, so by the time I knew him he was the guy who hung out in bathroom and made crappy videos.
Didn't like him in the Wham/Faith days, but he mellowed with age and IMO the 'Older' CD is his masterwork. Poor George, he was beautiful for one brief, shining moment and now he's just an old drunk Greek bloke.
Why do people say "Grow some balls"? Balls are weak and sensitive! If you really wanna get tough, grow a vagina! Those things take a pounding! -Betty White
correction: old drunk Greek blok in a bush.

just love that guy from his wham! and solo career
going to see him in concert in rotterdam
have tickets for all 3 concerts my best friend is tottaslly crazy about him.
Love, love, love George! I still think he's one of the best talents out there. It's such a shame his personal life is making the news as opposed to his music.
I'll come out of the closet and admit I love George Michael and that whole "I Want Your Sex" and "Father Figure" time in his life.![]()
Oh and of course "Freedom"...I LOVE that videoI'm SO cheesy sometimes!

I'm not quite drunk enough to really care, but is this her violation of her violation of her violation of her violation of probation or her violation of her violation of her violation of her probation????? ~MontanaMama on LL's latest arrest.
I think those were the best songs he's ever done. The apex of his career, as far as I'm concerned.
I still groove to Freedom. I also loved "Kissing a Fool," for sounding old timey and classic, and his duet "Knew You Were Waiting For Me" with Aretha. To hell with being cheesy or unfashionable, those were good songs.
Yes! Definitely one of the best male singers of our time. So many great songs to choose from, but I think his voice is best showcased on the Listen Without Prejudice album. The two songs that get me are "Mothers Pride" and "They Won't Go When I Go." Brilliant vocals! It's too bad his personal problems have overshadowed his talent.
