The last one I've been to was a Jann Arden concert, and that was last fall.
She displayed her sense of humor by doing a bit of stand-up comedy.
I was blown away by her voice. She sounds just as good live as she is on her CDs.
What a true talent!
i saw massive attack last tuesday at the montreux jazz festival and it was great.
my friends bought tickets and i didn't want to go at first because i'd seen them live before with tricky and i thought they couldn't top that but damn, it was awesome. they are amazing musicians and they played stuff from their whole career, not just the 'hits' but also a lot of unexpected songs.
i love music festivals, i've got tickets for a few more coming up.

I've never been to a concert.

I refuse to say on the grounds that it will make me feel old.

I haven't been to a "real" concert in ages. The last one that had any acts people would recognize was when MTV Campus Invasion hit my campus last year. I whored myself out as a roadie since it was on a day that I had no classes and got free tickets in return and got to hang out with the bands. They were IMAROBOT, LostProphets, and Hoobastank. That experience just helped to reaffirm the corrolation between fame and being an asshole. IMAROBOT has no fame whatsoever, they were just starting on the road, and they were the sweetest guys, and really, really cool (I wish i liked their music better though). LostProphets has a decent amount of fame and they were OK to us, not especially nice, but not expressly rude or anything. Hoobastank was really famous at that point (it was when The Reason had just come out and everyone was in love with it) and they were the biggest assholes ever. They treated all the roadies like shit, showed up 45 minutes late for the meet and greet, and barely signed anything. One of the roadie girls did it because they were her favorite band and so she could meet them, and they wouldn't even see her, let alone sign a shirt. She didn't even go to the concert that night because they were so rude to her.
In a fest: dEUS, Franz Ferdinand and others.

Went to Panic at the Disco! last month(I'm not a big fan but I told my friends daughter I would take her).
