Default Question: What current band/show/concert would you kill to see?

Sounds cliche, but I am actually asking for someone. A 'booker' is trying to get a feel as to what people really want to see/hear. His venue is trying to come up w/a huge name, and is looking around, so he asked for my help.

So, of the current bands that A) are alive B) are semi touring: who would you just love to see?

Can be any genre, any act.

I will be reporting back to him this weekend..

    Thanks!!

I'm probably too old to give a good answer. I asked my eleven year old and she said Bieber and Taylor Swift.

But for us oldies, Pearl Jam. I saw them a few years back and they had filled (not sure if they sold it out because there is lawn seating) a 30K person arena. I didn't realize that after all these years, they have a huge cult following. One of the best shows I have ever been to. Eddie sounds great and the crowd knows every word to every song.

Oh, and a bit of advice, don't book LeMann, there's a less than 50% chance she'd show anyway.

    Ha! LeMann.

Offhand, I'd add Zac Brown to the list.

Cool thread! I'm totally vouching Pearl Jam, they're on my bucket list, I must see them. Muse are a good shout too. I'd also like to see The Civil Wars, Christina Aguilera (shut up), Amos Lee, Slipknot, Mumford and Sons, Emeli Sande... my list is kind of endless. Oh and if it's a stadium you're booking, you can never go wrong with a bit of the Jovi

Oh yeah. Mumford and Sons would be good. And I'd still go see Bon Jovi any day, too. But I will make fun of you for Christina Aguilera.

I tried to quote Greys but the board ain't having it so anywhoo. Saw REM and it was hands down the best show i've ever seen.

Hey Christina can belt out the tunes, I love her! I'm actually going to see Jovi again in the summer, seen them a few times and it's always fun.

Ooh Blur would be amazing, good shout.

I'd like to see Jane's Addiction again too, I saw them about ten years ago and they were fabulous

I saw Christina a few years back. She as ah'ight but she lip sanc Beautiful which was a let down. And it's kind of hard to ignore the fact that you're there with 8 million teenagers.

I saw Jane's addiction (for the umpteenth time) this summer. Still rocking the house.
