I think it was pretty common back in the 70's to see wasted musicians on stage and yes, Aerosmith was better when they were high!
Has anyone attended a concert in which one or more of the musicians were either very drunk or stoned?
I remember seeing Aerosmith way back when when they were obviously very out of it.
I saw them again a few years later once they had straightened out their act.
Do you know, they sounded better to me when they were staggering around the stage drunk? They really did.
The second time I saw 'em, they appeared to be stiff. And I wasn't drunk or high myself at either show, hard to believe, isn't it?![]()

Willie Nelson, count on it!

LOL @ Willie Nelson! Good on him! I quit smoking several years ago, the wacky tobaccky, but if he can handle it at his age, what's wrong with it?
What about Johnny Cash, too, part of The Highwaymen? He was hopped up on amphetamines, at one time, so I have read. I think that June Carter helped to straighten him out.
Don't know much about Kris Kristofferson or Waylon Jennings, though I can imagine that the latter might enjoy the odd drink or two.I love Waylon Jennings' voice.

Hank Williams Jr. I didn't see him perform. But he came to the casino I used to work at years ago. One of my coworkers bartending when he came up to the bar out on the casino floor: "Weren't you supposed to be onstage 15 minutes ago?"
