So many kinds of AWESOME. Fucking great album. Better than Horehound - funkier and faster paced.

Interesting too to look at the songwriting credits. The overall impression you get of this band from what the media write about them is that this is yet another Jack White led band, where Jack does all the songwriting and pushes everyone to do what he wants to do (a la The White Stripes and, to a certain extent, The Raconteurs). But the songs are primarily written by Alison Mosshart, Dean Fertita and Jack Lawrence. White is only involved as a co-writer in about half the songs.

I am so kicking myself for not going to their gigs in March... their live show is apparently something to behold.
