Do you like to sing?
Do you sing in the shower?
Do you go to karaoke?
What kind of songs do you sing along to?
I love to sing and I often go karaoke, hehe . I'm usually a shy girl but it's the only time I can get the spotlight all to myself and I like getting all nervous for it (I like karaoke bars where you sing in front of lots of ppl rather than one of those karaoke boxes/rooms you share with friends).
Well, the selection of songs are kinda limited sometimes so there are the usual karaoke songs like Sinatra, Elvis and The Beatles etc. I like to sing Whitney Houston songs (yea the cheesy ones like The Greatest Love of All, Saving All My Love For You etc) And for some rock n roll type of songs, I used to like to sing Bon Jovi (Livin' On a Prayer). My BIL sang me With or Without You by U2 for my b-day some years back and that was awesome!! (He used to be in a band so he's pretty good at singing).
For some ballads, I like to sing Alone by Heart, Total Eclips of Heart (forgot who sings this) etc.
And today while doing the dishes I was singing some KISS songs like I Wanna Rock n Roll All Night (and party everyday~ ), Dr. Love and Love Gun. I'm such a dork!!!!

Re: Do you like to sing?
I'm shy so I could never imagine doing the Karaoke thing as much fun as it is.
Each time I try to playfully sing along to something my boyf teases me and says how crap I am. Even my dog will look at me oddly so I guess my voice is very much an acquired taste favoured by those with hearing difficulties.

I like to sing, but I am not good at it. I could never do karaoke unless I had a few drinks in me.

Re: Do you like to sing?
My friend's wife is a self-proclaimed karaoke queen. Me, I sing in my car, that's about it. My voice sucks - I shouldn't even be allowed to sing "Happy Birthday!"

Re: Do you like to sing?
I couldn't carry a tune to save my life, but I'll still sing karaoke and in the car if I'm alone. Just about everyone else sucks just as bad as me at karaoke (ESPECIALLY when drunk), so who cares if you're horrible, it's about having fun!

Re: Do you like to sing?
I love to sing! I'm one of those that will just start belting out a song, whatever comes to mind, doesn't matter where I am. I've always wondered where the singing came from in my family. I found out today at my great-aunt's funeral, she loved to sing and could play a mean piano. Someone told a story from when she worked on the tanks and guns at the base in Aberdeen. She'd be singing and her boss would yell at her to knock it off and was pretty serious. She's down in a tank one day singing away and someone starts talking down in there to her. The guy tells her to state her name and what she's doing. Apparently, she almost fainted when she came up and there's a sargeant there! He told her "keep up the good work and the singing, we need more cheer in this country with all that's going on right now".

Re: Do you like to sing?
I've been studying classical singing for years, so it'd be really weird if I didn't! My favorite things to sing are bel canto opera, 90's pop, and metal with melodic vocals. I also looooove doing death metal growls; and I'm not half bad, but I really shouldn't, they'll wreck your throat.

Re: Do you like to sing?
I like to sing and in my own ears I think I sound good. But when I listen to myself after, yes I've recorded just to listen to myself, I don't think that I sounded very well.

Don't feel bad! I've done it too! I did it a few times just to hear how I sounded. One time I had to do it, I was going to auditon for All State and I could not for the life of me hit the notes when I was supposed to. It really sucks not being able to read music well, you would think after 9 years of doing it everyday I'd have gotten the hang of it, but no.

That's me too! I'm not bad but not very good either. I like singing to Annie Lennox, Fiona Apple, Alannis....

Re: Do you like to sing?
I did sing in Karaoke once in a pub with 3 other girls and had a ball. We even had people up dancing to us. Granted they were drunk people but nonetheless it was so much fun!
