He's a quite well known (stand-up) comedian in the UK, wrote
a (couple of?) book(s), presented some shows and apparently
has been in a movie or 2 as well.

He's alternately hot and odd. Russell is very funny, but mad as a hatter. Listen to his show: BBC - Radio 2 - Shows - Russell Brand and you'll be impressed and hooked. He's very intelligent but a total whore. I do believe he'd be great fun in bed, as he's a complete pig and we all know that makes for multiple orgasms!
