Only James Marsters and Emma Caulfield, at a Buffy convention a few years back.
Rhoderick Gates in London last year. He was on stage with a UK politician called Tony Benn. They were talking about religion. Since Tony's getting deaf Gates was his second pair of ears so to speak.

I met Kenny Rogers when I was about 14. I got to go backstage at one of his concerts. He was a nice enough guy. I still have my photo with him.
I also met Willie Nelson. Hell, I was 14 then too but I wonder if he was high...hmmm.
A friend of mine met Michael Hutchence in CHicago. He asked her if she wanted to go "downtown" with him. She thought he meant down into the city when he really was asking her if she wanted to get high with him.
I met U2 after a concert. They were quiet, signed autographs and left. Bono seemed short to me.
I've met a ton of the Chicago Bears from the late 80s when they played a fundraising basketball game against our high school team. They were all SUPER nice guys. Very big. I met almost all of the team from the mid 90s as well when I was working a fundraiser thrown by them. Again, everyone was super nice. The wives were dripping with jewels.
Chris Chelios from the Blackhawks....HOT in person.
I haven’t actually met anyone famous but I’ve seen the following people quite a
few years ago ~
David Carradine while he was filming a movie downtown.
Michael Douglas while he was filming a movie downtown. I remember
being surprised at how short he was.
I saw Clint Eastwood using a banking machine downtown. At the time I thought it couldn’t be him,
but that night on the news they reported that he was in town. I was surprised he was so tall.
I shook Brian Mulroney’s hand.
Someone I know used to work with Rachael Ray. She claims that she’s a real B.
That’s it for my celebrity encounters.

Hey you. Yeah you. Don't think you were hiding from me behind those Rayban Wayfarer's. I knew it was you.
You in your glasses and leather jacket, so tall, so pasty white, so dark and handsome. And always in the same place at the northeast corner newsstand at 81st and Columbus Ave in NYC, 50 feet from your apt. bldg.
I could have been a bitch and asked for a copy of W Magazine with Ms. Diaz on the cover... just to make you squirm a bit. But I'd never do that because you know we've had this same moment for 16 years Matt Dillon.

^Chalet, GF, you saw Dillon? (sorry I'm a little more dense than usual today). Loved him in "There's something about Mary". But 5'11" isn't THAT tall, is it?
How old is he anyway, he seems to be aging quite well.

I've been seeing him in the same spot since the early 90's because that newsstand is near my friend. I just happened to be walking to the corner today.
He gives a tall appearance. Remember, I'm Shorty Shorterson. He must be about 41 or 42. You'd look at him even if he weren't famous.
I saw Cindy Crawford walking with her boy by Central Park East. I was on my cell thinking, 'Boy that nanny has amazing legs.' and I looked up and it was Cindy.
Saw Antonio Banderas, Melanie Griffith, and their daughter Stella. Antonio was trying not to be noticed but Melanie looked like a dang Chrismas tree. Antonio is rather short.
Ate lunch next to John Cusack, he is so cute and 40 looks good on him. I dare any girl with 'Say Anything' memories to try not to swoon and oogle for an hour and a half. Very difficult.
Maggie Gyllenhal walked by us while we were having lunch in Soho. She was still preggers and looked like a tick about to pop. Moved verrrrrrrry slowly and all her friends kept pace.
Shopped in same boutique with Sarah Michelle Gellar, she's short and cute.
And that's about it I think!
oops, forgot I saw Susan Sarandon at Union Square movie theater with her young son and his buddies. I think it was '28 Days Later' because I remember it was R rated and I was surprised she brought them to a movie even I was having trouble with, lol.
In Vancouver:
Goldie Hawn--i literally bumped into her as i came flying around the corner of a building. She was carrying dry cleaning and talking on her cell phone.
Hank Azaria --passed him on the street--he was with another man and woman (seemed like friends). I saw the look on his face when he saw me recognize him. I love him and debated on whether to say anything but i didn't want to bother him.
Christian Slater -- in the passenger seat of a car coming out of a parkade--same block i saw Hank.
Rod Stewart - came into the restaurant where i was having dinner. Turned out it's his favorite restaurant in Van and he was having his (or his daughter's?) birthday party there.
Prince William - in the hotel where he, Prince Charles and Harry were staying the year after Diana's death.
Prince Edward and Sophie--i was a volunteer for their visit to City Hall
I think there are more but these are the ones i can think of off hand.
too many losers to name1 cool one was Jack Nicholson at a Laker game but from far away. and rest were lame...oh yeah and Harrison Ford a few weeks ago at a restaurant. Bud Bundy too

I wanna hear about Warren Beatty, a.k.a. "The Mummy", encounters. The guy has been on the road all year it seems yet apparently nobody encountered him in the flesh. (Or maybe they did, but were so shocked at seeing how ANCIENT he looks that they didn't live to tell us about it!
