I've only seen/met musicians...they're really the only ones who come here.
Angie Everhart- Gorgeous in person, very tall and thin, always wore faded torn jeans with a black shirt, was polite, and kept to herself.
Todd Rundgren- Nice guy, very unpretentious.
Sebatian Bach (80's hair band)- got pissed when I carded the girl with him, and wouldn't serve her.
Robert Reed (Brady Bunch dad)- very personable, good tipper, hit on the young men, we kept it under wraps because it wasn't "public" yet.
^^Those were a few at a little bar I worked in, in Akron, OH.
Robert Wuhl (Arli$$)- met him when he was doing stand-up, not funny in person.
Lots of "80's" performers-
Culture Club- Boy George and his gang, he was much taller in person than expected, quiet, the other guys were partiers, and kind of horndogs
Donny Iris- Great guy, very nice, had drinks with him at many concerts
Thompson Twins- Stuffy attitudes
Police- Flirts
Chrissy Hynde- if you didn't approach her (pissed her off), and she approached you, she's very nice, intelligent, funny.
Romantics- little tiny guys, about 5'2" each, with loads of hairspray
Billy Idol- Flirt
INXS- didn't really "meet" them, but was backstage, trying to keep my composure, they were my favorite band.
a whole bunch, since I live in NYC, so here's a story that makes my friends laugh:
about 6 years ago, I was doing charity work through my company, and my co-workers and I afterwards go to the theatre district to get drinks, and since I was young, I got drunk. We go outside of the bar, and my friend says to me "you know who that guy infront of you is, right?"
it was my 12 year old crush, Matthre Broderick, wearing a seersucker suit and hat...SO CUTE!
He starts to walk off and in my drunken haze, I ran after him and grab and yell "WAIT!" He gave me the look of death! LOLOLOL!
needless to say, the love was gone and the hangover took over...
other than that?

Glamazon - I'm in NYC too. You haven't seen Alec Baldwin? LOL. He and Calvin Klein are my most seen celebrities.
I swear, 10 years ago I saw Calvin everywhere. I'd walk by somewhere and he'd be working out in the front window at the gym. I go to a restaurant, he's there.
I would see Alec Baldwin all the time. When he was thin he still had a very big butt.
Some memorable one's:
Matt Dillon
Farrah Fawcett (in her day)
Paul Newman
Ellen Barkin
Cher with Tom Cruise
Sly Stallone
Mary Tyler Moore
Marisa Tomei
Johnny Depp (at a Marc Jacobs show backstage with a neurotic Kate Moss)
Al Pacino
Dustin Hoffman (he is funny!)
Richard Chamberlain (yes, I waited outside the theatre)
Jason Alexander
Kevin Spacey (at a hotel bar where I stared at him a little too long)
Sidney Poiter (sat next to him at the theatre but really kept looking over at his wife's 50 carat yellow diamond ring). Sidney said Good Evening to me, charming.
Jane Curtin
Joanne Woodward
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell
Mary Stewart Masterson (where is she?)
Norman Mailer
Woody Allen (in an elevator with Soon Yi and walking down the street talking to himself)
Harrison Ford (same elevator different day) Fantastic butt.
Andy Warhol (having dinner with twin teen boys - he read the paper)
Sharon Stone (AIDS event)
Claudette Colbert (for all you classic movie fans - that was a Wow moment for me)
Tatum O'Neal (not the brightest bulb but nice)
Models seen dressed and/or naked at Marc Jacobs show backstage:
Linda Evangelista
Kate Moss
Karen Mulder
Kristin McMenamy
Naomi Campbell (best body I've ever seen)
Christy Turlington
Elaine Irwin (Mrs. Mellencamp)
Stephanie Seymour (fake boobs, bad nose job)
Cindy Crawford
Chalet, you're an NYC-er? and you saw my HUSBAND JOHNNY DEPP!! DEETS NOW!!!
ok, ok, I'm running off, but we must meet up and talk. Your love and knowledge of the great men of Hollywood (and my secret baby's dad, Rudolpho Valentino) makes you my new friend...and really, who else is gonna hear me moan about the wretchedness that is hollywood now?
pm me, por favor!

What's weird is that I never see paparazzi. If there's a movie premiere and I'm walking by they're there of course, but the stalking type? Never. I forgot about The Human Stain premiere with Kidman and Antony Hopkins. I was on the bus and I only see the top of her head with all the flashbulbs going off. But the ones that stalk Sarah Jessica Parker and her kid in Greenwich Village or the shoppers on Madison Ave, I just never see them.
Oh! I now I remember shopping in Bloomingdales when Lisa Marie Presley was about 15. She and Priscilla were being followed in the store and I was right there as she was complaining to the security guard.
I ran into Alan Cumming when I was in NYC, too.
The celebs I met/seen are mostly musicians. And I hung out with some of them.
^ I love Alan Cumming, he just seems so cool! I've met a couple broadway people too, the biggest names are Bernadette Peters and Anthony Rapp. Both were the nicest, sweetest people I've met. They're still very down to earth.
I was "email buddies" with Anthony Rapp for awhile after we got in touch about a project I was doing for a class, plus I've met him in person twice (he's originally from a town near me so I've seen him around). I wound up emailing him a question through a fan page for his CD, figuring it was worth a shot. He actually replied really quickly, we went back and forth for awhile, and wound up chatting about stuff outside of the realm of my project, I have his AIM screen name too
Bernadette Peters performed at an outdoor music festival near my house. After the concert she went to the tent where the artists will sometimes do autographs. Usually the artists only stay for a little while and then leave, but the park officials kept going around the line (which went the entire length of the enormous park) saying she said she wanted to stay until every person that wanted something signed got the opportunity. The park was urging people to make it fast so that they could move the line quickly and not "inconvenience" her, but she wound up talking to every person in that line for a few minutes. She was so sweet and really pretty in person.
I kissed Alan Cumming once, he was a nicey.

^Oooh!!!
I was just happy to see him. He was with his boyfriend at the time so my friends and I just said our hello's as we walked by.
Love Alan.
The first celeb I'd ever seen was Gene Wilder when I was a teen, we were on vacation in California and he walked right past us on the sidewalk when we were browsing on Rodeo Drive. That was kind of cool, but my mom wouldn't let me try to chase him down for an autograph.
When I was 16 I got backstage at a Styx concert and got to hang with Tommy Shaw & Dennis Deyoung, that was pretty cool.
Lately, I helped run an auction with Joan Cusack for pancreatic cancer research and got to hang out with her for an evening, that was fun, she's really nice. That same spring in 2004, I met John Cusack & BillyBob Thornton when they were filming a movie in my hometown. John Cusack is way taller then I expected and very handsome in person. BillyBob ROCKED, he was so nice, something intoxicating about him that I just can't pinpoint. During that same spring, Oceans 12 was filming outside of Chicago as well, and my daughter & I met George Clooney at a train station. He's beautiful, almost too beautiful to be real, but way shorter & thinner than he looks on tv.
Last year I met Vince Vaughn & Jennifer Aniston when they worked on The Breakup. I was an extra. My daughter &I just got to be extras in a movie with Fred Armisen from SNL & Seann William Scott. They were really really nice, they would shoot the breeze with us, and even ate lunch with us extras. The end of the day my daughter asked them if she could get her pic taken with them because it was her first time being an extra, they congratulated her and took a photo with her. Very nice guys.
^Jennifer strikes me as a very nice person. Thats why I dont agree when people say 'she seems like a bitch'.
^She wasn't a bitch at all. Matter of fact, my daughter & I went to the Chicago premier of The BreakUp, which was Memorial Day. Angelina gave birth a few days earlier, and considering the circumstances, Jennifer was very gracious to the crowd, greeting fans, even stopped to give my daughter an autograph and snap a photo. In all honesty, Jenn was friendlier to the crowd than Vince was on that particular day, though my duaghter was able to get Vince's autograph too, he just seemed more rushed then Jenn.
